Description:

Decorative antique Christmas cup made of porcelain, dating from around 1920. The cup features a charming color lithographic decoration. At the center is a festively decorated Christmas tree with burning candles, surmounted by a radiant Christmas star. Figural scenes on either side complete the nostalgic Christmas design. Particularly attractive is the German inscription “Fröhliche Weihnacht” (“Merry Christmas”). The characteristic colors and historic lithographic decoration give the cup the wonderful charm of Christmas in the early 20th century. A rare and decorative collector’s piece for lovers of antique Christmas items, historic porcelain, and early Christmas imagery.
