Julkugel / Julschmuck
Christmas tree decorations from the time of the Third Reich. In an attempt to suppress Christian tradition, kugels with runic symbols (Germanic symbols) adorned the Christmas tree in many Nazi-sympathizing homes. In the Scandinavian languages, Christmas is called jul or jol, in Finnish joulu, in Estonian jõulud, in English Yule, and in Dutch Joel. The kugels were manufactured in lauscha for the company Vokalit.
