Description:
With bright green wings and vivid pink accents, this glass bird from the 1950s brings colour to the Christmas tree. The silvered glass was hand-painted with gelatine-based colours. Its gleaming silver body, pointed green beak and white fibreglass tail give it a distinctive appearance. The bird measures 14 cm in overall length and is mounted on a metal clip for attachment to the Christmas tree. Age-related paint loss and signs of use are present and visible in the photographs. A charming collector’s piece of vintage Christmas decoration. Guaranteed old – not a reproduction.
