Description:
Decorative antique Christmas ornament in the shape of a fruit, made from cotton wool around 1920. Its warm yellow colouring with rich red shading gives the fruit a natural appearance. Three waxed leaves with finely serrated edges complete the design. The paper-wrapped stem is bent into a hook at the top for hanging on the Christmas tree. The fine texture of the cotton wool, together with the preserved signs of age and wear, adds to the distinctive charm of this collectible piece. Guaranteed antique – not a reproduction.
