Description:
This antique Christmas ornament in the shape of a swan was made around 1930 in Bohemia, in what is now the Czech Republic. The silvered glass body features an elegantly curved neck and moulded wings. Particularly beautiful are the rich shades of red, golden yellow and blue, which stand out vividly against the silver-coloured body. A red beak and finely painted blue eyes complete the design. A long, spun glass tail and a spring-mounted metal clip finish the ornament. A collectible piece to complement a collection of historic Christmas ornaments. Guaranteed antique – not a reproduction.
